This service is offered to you with no additional charge from the Village. You will still receive a monthly invoice that will be marked ACH withdraw to remind you that the bill was paid by automatic withdraw from your account.

If you wish to take advantage of the new automatic withdraw from your checking account to pay your monthly water and sewer bill, please download the ACH Enrollment form, complete it and mail it to the Village of Russia at PO Box 306, Russia Ohio 45363. Please allow two weeks for processing.

Water

Water system residential connection fees have been set. A standard installation with a 5/8" X 3/4" inside water meter will have a $500.00 tap in fee. Once this fee is paid, the Village will provide the homeowner with a water meter and associated fittings.

Water rates are currently under review.

Water will be billed monthly based on metered usage.

Wastewater

Wastewater rates are currently a flat rate of $35.00 per month, per equivalent user, and are billed on a monthly basis. Wastewater users outside of the corporation limits are billed at 150% of the village resident rate. Bills not paid by the 25th. of each month are subject to a 10% penalty fee. Unpaid balances on utility bills over $350.00 are subject to an additional one time $100.00 processing fee and will be submitted to the Shelby County Auditors Office for certification and assessment to the property taxes.

Property owners of residential units that are unoccupied for three consecutive months may apply for credit on their monthly wastewater bill for the unoccupied time. These requests must be made in writing to the billing clerk at at the village office.

Bill Payment

Wastewater bills may be paid by depositing them in the B.P.A. bill slot on the West side of the village office located at 232 West Main Street or they may be mailed to;
